Mr. Priestley is volunteering free scuba instruction to members of the Scuba and Freediving Club @FIU. The costs presented below reflect fees charged by the certification agency and rental of the FIU pool.

NAUI Certifications
- Open water Nitrox combo: $337.50 ($137.50 for online and textbook materials + $90.00 for boat and charter fees + $110.00 for pool fees).
- Nitrox only: $80.00-$170.00 ($80 for online and textbook materials only and optional boat dive for $90.00)
Learning time
- 18 online/classroom training hours (14 for Open Water and 4 for Nitrox). One classroom session is required.
- 18 confined water training hours (12 in the water and 6 for gear)
- 6 classroom sessions
- 6 confined water (pool) sessions
- Total time: 6 weeks
